The remote photoelectrical digital passive meter reading system (network meter reading system) is a new type of modern and intelligent management system for charging the water consumption. The technology and performance of this system are ahead of similar products in China. It has a long service life and needs low maintenance and running expense, while the installation and management is easy to be achieved.

Structure of the system:

The component of the system is the server (computer for the management center), the data concentrator, the data acquisition unit and the remote photoelectrical digital passive water meters (network water meters).

Principle of the system operation:

1、The data acquisition unit automatically reads and monitors all the information from the remote photoelectrical digital passive water meters down there through M-bus according to the uplink instruction and transmits these info to the data concentrator through route networking, then responds to the management computer through cable or wireless/Modem network.

2、The remote photoelectrical digital passive water meters needs External electricity supply from only when responding to the management computer. And they provide accurate measurement, upload the consumption data and operation state info and respond to the software upgrading.

Functions of the management software:

1、Installation management: Registering, approving, surveying, budgeting, installing and inspecting the application

2、User management: Creating user file/ water meter file, registering installation, opening, closing and transferring accounts

3、Operation management: Water consumption measurement, calculation and collect of charges, keeping and balancing accounts

4、Service management: monitoring and repairing, registering maintenance, scanning and checking suspects;

5、Statistical query: List of users, water consumption, charging and debts and various statistical reports

6、Interfaces for bank, remote service, IC card and equipments for audio etc.

l         B/S structure: Compatible with multiple types of water meters;

l         Charging the water consumption based on given price ladder by banks;

l         Measuring the water consumption and analyzing the data;

l         Automatic measuring, analyzing and monitoring the whole time, if used with the remote networked intelligent terminal produced by us;

l         Monitoring at real time and automatically analyzing which ensures detection of abnormities promptly, including disassembling by end users without permission, flipping of water meter and sudden increase or decrease of water consumption).
